OH HONEY! – Honig. Auf den ersten Blick verbindet man ihn nur mit „süß“. Doch Honig ist im wahrsten Sinne des Wortes vielschichtig. Schicht um Schicht wird er von Bienen in kleinen, perfekt angeordneten Waben erschaffen, die zusammen ein beeindruckendes Kunstwerk ergeben.

So ist auch meine Kunst: Schichten voller Fragen, Ironie und Reflexion über das, was uns als Menschen antreibt und prägt. Meine Werke laden dazu ein, hinter die Fassade zu blicken und eigene Annahmen sowie gesellschaftliche Erwartungen zu hinterfragen. Ich möchte nicht nur zeigen, sondern enthüllen, wie viel von dem, was wir sehen und glauben, möglicherweise eine Illusion ist.

Meine Werke lassen sich nicht in eine klassische Schublade stecken, doch die Einflüsse der Pop-Art sind deutlich erkennbar – in der Wahl kräftiger Farben, ausdrucksstarker Typografie und spielerischer Wiederholungen. Dieser Stil schafft eine zugängliche Oberfläche und zieht den Betrachter an – nur um ihn dann mit Fragen und Widersprüchen zu konfrontieren. Meine Werke fordern dazu auf, menschliches Verhalten, Konsumkultur und gesellschaftliche Normen zu hinterfragen.

Durch den Einsatz monotoner Muster reflektiere ich die endlose Wiederholung gesellschaftlicher Mantras und fordere dazu auf, über die scheinbare Einfachheit hinauszudenken. Andere Werke von mir leben von Kontrasten zwischen Farben und Formen, von der Kombination aus Fotografie und Malerei. Sie erzeugen eine Spannung zwischen dem Konkreten und dem Abstrakten. Diese Dualität ist ein zentrales Thema meiner Kunst: Alles hat eine zweite Ebene, eine verborgene Wahrheit, die nur entdeckt wird, wenn man genauer hinsieht. Ich stelle Fragen, lasse Raum für Interpretation und überlasse es dem Betrachter, Teil der Kunst zu werden und sich selbst zu reflektieren.

Meine Werke mögen humorvoll und verspielt wirken, doch sie stellen mutige Fragen. Sie thematisieren das Verhältnis zwischen Sichtbarkeit und Verborgenheit und rütteln an sozialen Normen. Ob es sich um eine scheinbar einfache Farbe, ein wiederholtes Wort oder eine verdichtete Collage handelt – ich spiele mit Erwartungen und fordere dazu auf, das Verborgene zu entdecken und eigene Vorurteile zu hinterfragen.

OH HONEY! – Honey. At first glance, it’s often simply associated with “sweet.” But honey is truly multifaceted. Layer by layer, it is created by bees in small, perfectly arranged honeycombs, which together form an impressive masterpiece.

This is also what my art represents: layers filled with questions, irony, and reflections on what drives and shapes us as humans. My works invite viewers to look beyond the surface and challenge their own assumptions as well as societal expectations. I aim not just to show, but to reveal how much of what we see and believe might, in fact, be an illusion.

My works cannot be neatly categorized into a traditional box, yet the influences of Pop Art are unmistakable—in the use of bold colors, striking typography, and playful repetitions. This style creates an accessible surface that draws the viewer in—only to confront them with questions and contradictions. My works challenge us to reflect on human behavior, consumer culture, and societal norms.

Through the use of monotonous patterns, I reflect the endless repetition of societal mantras and invite viewers to think beyond the apparent simplicity. Other works of mine thrive on contrasts between colors and shapes, combining photography with painting. They create a tension between the concrete and the abstract. This duality is a central theme of my art: everything has a second layer, a hidden truth that is only revealed upon closer inspection. I pose questions, leave room for interpretation, and invite the viewer to become part of the art and engage in self-reflection.

My works may appear humorous and playful, but they ask bold questions. They explore the relationship between visibility and concealment, challenging social norms. Whether it’s a seemingly simple color, a repeated word, or a dense collage, I play with expectations and encourage viewers to uncover the hidden and question their own biases.
